Phase 1 improvements for the Lake Villa District Library provides functionality to its outdoor space. A natural stone stepped terrace was constructed near the front entrance to accommodate more seating options and create shade for the area. Installed on the terraces are two shade structures that are laser-etched with hundreds of author names. Near the front entrance are two umbrella tables equipped to provide power via solar panels. Planting installations on site enhances the hospitality of the main entrance.
